P: How is Riddhi doing in studies?

T: She is amazing. She has performed extremely well in this term. I can see the improvements and hard work she is doing.

P: Wow, that’s good to hear. Any further suggestions for improvement.

T: All is good. I think she should work a little upon her calculation skills. Fast calculations can make her unbeatable.

P: Sure, I will help her with that. Thanks for your efforts and feedback.

T: That’s always my pleasure. Please sign here…. Thanks for coming.

P: How is Riddhi doing in studies?

T: Well, I can see some improvement in her performance and I am really proud of that. However, she still needs to do a lot of hard work especially in Maths and Science.

P: Oh, I see. Riddhi doesn’t focus on her studies. She spends most of her time watching Tv and playing.

T: Every child is different. They need time for entertainment also. As a parent, you can limit this time rather than refusing them.

P: Ya, I understand. Please suggest me how I can help her in studies.

T: Please ask her to practice whatever she learns in school. She must write and learn all the formulas. Do practice sums. Redo the questions which were marked incorrect.

P: Yes, I will ensure that she does so. Should I put her in extra coaching class?

T: If you think, you can’t spend much time with her helping her in studies, you can put her in a coaching class. Try to find some good tutor who can understand Riddhi.

P: Thanks, I will do that.

T: That’s always my pleasure. Please sign here…. Thanks for coming.

P: Thanks ma’am.

T: Ya, she is quite popular in the class. She has many friends in class.

P: At home, she often talks about her friends. I hope she doesn’t cause any nuisance (trouble) in the class.

T: Not at all, she is a very sweet child, well mannered and obedient. She is always in the good books of her teachers. It’s a pleasure to have her in my class. T: I am sorry to say but she is quite introvert and shy. She hardly makes new friends.

P: Oh.. is that so? Well, she is shy at home also. What can I do for this?

T: Don’t worry. Sometimes kids take time to be social. Give her space. I am sure she will grow up to be a great person.

P: But I want her to open up at least with her parents and teachers.

T: You must make her talk about her day and friends at school. Invite her friends at home so that she feels comfortable with them.

P: Yes, I think you are right. Does she speak with the teachers easily?

T: Well, she does but not much. She hardly shares her problem or doubt with the teachers unless asked for. Being her class teacher, I know her and always try to make her speak.
